父親的性格是嚴(yán)厲的，父親總是在我驕傲的'時(shí)候提醒我不要驕傲，在我獲得成功的時(shí)候警告我不要自滿。而媽媽的性格正好和相反，是慈祥的。母親總是會(huì)在我不開(kāi)心的時(shí)候來(lái)安慰我，在我做事的時(shí)候宜的鼓舞我。就拿上次考試來(lái)說(shuō)吧，在考試前，我由于緊張考得不好而坐立不安。第二天我竟然考了一個(gè)比較好地成績(jī)。我拿著試卷高高興興的回到家，向媽媽道喜，媽媽接過(guò)試卷，竟然像小孩子一樣手舞入蹈，并不時(shí)又輕又抱。這時(shí)候爸爸走過(guò)來(lái)看了看分?jǐn)?shù)說(shuō)：“又不是滿分，有什么好高興。記住“謙虛使人進(jìn)步，驕傲使人落后。”爸爸的一番話如同一盆冷水，消滅了了我心中興奮的烈火。可現(xiàn)在我回想起，覺(jué)得爸爸的話也不是沒(méi)有道理，也是一種疼愛(ài)我的表現(xiàn)。
